New FRost

The cold spell is here and the ground has frozen. But the sun has been very bright. something very unusual for our island winters.

We greatly appreciate the light. Any light. On that note we just finished putting the christmas lights outside. The weather here is maritime so i hope they survive the winds. I did not have regular christmas lights but rather colorful outdoor chinese lanterns. i think they are enough to get us into the Festive mood of Christmas. Since everything is so moist on coastal environments we have not gotten snow yet but the frost makes everything beautifully white and quiet. i love it how summer comes full force in ontario in just about two weeks everything is lush and green and lilac is everywhere. yuuummm 

perfect time to work and bring forth new work.

FRIENDSHIP AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Sometimes you know how much the world of things will never replace the world of love and this is the theme of my latest paintings. i have a childhood friend currently having to temporarily work in the DF. she is of course a friend-sister. and i think this bond has inspired my latest work.

Ontario has decide to warm up a bit today and it is great excitement to see the people combing the streets and soaking the much needed vitamin d. i am walking out to enjoy the buzzz. have a great day wherever you are.

ok , JANUARY 2OTH. it is almost like a giant switch. A QUANTUM LEAP for HUMANITY . i - we feel so positive about the possibility of ANYTHING good happening. because something GOOD CAN happen. i truly believe in our psyche creating our paths. it is just the timing that can be trying. 

on that note, TODAY my admiration goes out to those PEOPLE who are a shinning light, not because of what they can do but because THEY ARE.
