We greatly appreciate the light. Any light. On that note we just finished putting the christmas lights outside. The weather here is maritime so i hope they survive the winds. I did not have regular christmas lights but rather colorful outdoor chinese lanterns. i think they are enough to get us into the Festive mood of Christmas. Since everything is so moist on coastal environments we have not gotten snow yet but the frost makes everything beautifully white and quiet.
